During the procedure tiny plasma flash also referred as an electrical arc is being discharged from the tip of the Fibroblast handpiece. The tool itself never touches the skin however plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon the contact.

There is no cuts, no blood. This innovative technology uses sublimation process, turning solid directly to gas to tighten skin tissue. Targeted tissue sublimate, causing no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers.

Further points are applied creating a symmetrical grid over the treatment area. Effects are noticeable right away. Full results become visible after 2-4 weeks. Patient can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.

Fibroblast is virtually painless and doesn’t require anesthesia. Numbing cream is used to minimize discomfort during procedure. Side effects are minimal and complications rare. Carbon crusts, a tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin are part of normal healing process. Correctly treated with after-cream will cause no threat and fall off 5-7 days after treatment. After-care instructions will be given to a patient following the procedure. It is very important to adhere to our after-care advice.

Face-to-face consultation is required. Fibroblast specialist will asses the best treatment plan. Possible conditions jeopardizing safe and effective procedure will be discussed.

One treatment may be sufficient. This depends on treated area size and clients expected degree of correction. Additional procedure may be performed 6-8 weeks after the first one. We strongly advise to follow our after care guidelines to minimize discomfort and ensure quick healing.

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT TREAT ANYONE WITH A PACEMAKER. NOR DO WE RECOMMEND THIS TREATMENT FOR ANYONE WITH KELOID SCARS.

What is Purebeau Fibroblast Treatment ?

  • Fibroblast treatment is a non-surgical lift procedure giving the same results as traditional surgery. It is safe and bloodless, without the need for anesthesia. Fibroblast is virtually painless with anesthetic applied locally prior to treatment. This innovative technique will not cause overlifting. Only the excess skin is affected during the procedure. Patients are able to notice results right away although it takes 2-4 weeks for full effect to be visible. Fibroblast procedure may only be performed by the certified specialist.

How does the Fibroblast work?

  • Fibroblast device uses plasma, an ionized gas between the tip of the Fibroblast tool and patients skin. During the procedure electric arc forms, referred to as a plasma flash or mini lightning. Only surface of the skin is touched causing tissue to retract. This is known as sublimation, the process of turning solid directly to gas. Targeted tissue sublimate, therefore no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. Patient can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.

How long is the Fibroblast Procedure?

  • To minimize any discomfort numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. It will take 30 minutes for anesthetic to take effect. The procedure itself takes between 15-30 minutes depending on the size of treated area. Your appointment shouldn’t last longer then 90 minutes.

How is the Fibroblast performed?

  • When activated, Fibroblast tool creates plasma flash which travels from the tool’s tip to treated area. The tool itself never touches the skin however plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon the contact. Further points are applied creating a symmetrical grid over the treatment area. This in effect causes tightening of skin fibers. Only surface of the skin is affected and deeper layer known as the basal lamina is not. Fibroblast is non-invasive treatment, no cuts to the skin or stitching is necessary. Fibroblast is completely bloodless and without unnecessary damages to surrounding tissues.

Does the treatment hurt?

  • Fibroblast is non-surgical treatment with no pain or minimal discomfort reported by patients. Topical cream is applied to numb treated area prior to procedure. Immediately after the treatment the skin will be reddened and lightly swollen. This will usually last up to 3 days, although slight redness may remain for up to 2 weeks. During the procedure carbon crusts will form on the skin directly where Fibroblast tool was applied. Crusts should not be touched for 5-7 days however post-procedure foundation can be used to camouflage them. Purebeau offers specific Fibroblast Powder in two variations for either lighter or darker skin complexion. To minimize  complications you will be informed on proper aftercare following the procedure.

Are there any sides effects after the treatment?

  • Yes. It is very important to follow our after care recommendations. Carbon crusts CANNOT be scratched or removed. Drying skin by dabbing with a clean, lint-free cloth is allowed. Purebeau Aftercare balm should be reapplied to the area. Healing skin should be protected from direct sun with SPF50 cream. Sports, swimming and sauna are not permitted until crusts fall off. This should happen within 7 days of procedure.

Is Fibroblast safe?

  • Yes, it is. Fibroblast is an innovative state of the are product made in Germany. It is certified by European CE. This means product meets high safety, health and environmental protection requirements. Fibroblast treatment is already extremely popular across Europe. It quickly becomes choice for those looking into a non-surgical skin lift. Only doctors who underwent specialized training and hold the Fibroblast Certification by Purebeau are authorized to perform treatments. You will be asked by Purebeau professional to fill in and sign consent. All potential side effects will be carefully explained.

Are there any specific care recommendations?

  • Fibroblast is very safe and side-effects are rare but infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur. Carbon crusts, a tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin are part of normal healing process and when correctly treated with after-cream will cause no threat and fall off 5-7 days after treatment. Mild swelling is expected during first 3 days and usually entirely gone by day 5. Majority of our patients do not report any of those after a week.

Should I watch for any unusual complications?

  • Fibroblast is very safe but in some rare occasions complications may occur. Please inform your Fibroblast specialist immediately in case of any unusual symptoms. This may include signs of infection such as excessive redness, pus, blistering or thick, yellow crust forming in treatment area.

Can I use cosmetic after the procedure?

  • The treated skin area will be covered with carbon crusts which form during the treatment. They should not be rubbed off therefore it is necessary to avoid any moisturizing creams for 5-7 days. This is when usually crusts fall off. In addition patients need to avoid all direct heat sources such as sun, UV radiation, saunas etc for the period of at least 4 weeks.

Are the full effects of Fibroblast procedure visible right away?

  • Most patients should notice the effect of the procedure right away. However the healing will continue and the full result should be visible within 2-4 weeks. In some cases patients may need more then one treatment. This depends on treatment area and skin condition as well as patient’s expectations.

How many treatments are required?

  • In some cases just one treatment may be sufficient, especially with lighter corrections. Many of the treatments will depend on a size of the treated area and customer’s desired degree of correction. Full effect of the first treatment will be visible after 2-4 weeks following the procedure. If patient requires additional treatment to achieve optimal results those should be scheduled at 6 to 8 weeks intervals. Effectiveness of Fibroblast non-surgical lift is comparable to traditional techniques. In order to evaluate number of required procedures and choosing best treatment plan face-to-face consultation is required.

How long the effect of the treatment last?

  • The treatment should last long term rather then few months although it is hard to predicted exactly. Aging is dynamic process and there are many factors affecting patients individually. Lifestyle, diet and genetics just to mention few. As of today permanent results are not possible, after Fibroblast procedure or traditional surgery your skin will be a subject to aging. Your skin will continue to relax (loosen) again. In some rare situations aging may be accelerated and effectiveness of Fibroblast would be shortened. Purebeau technician will discuss those conditions, so patients have better understanding of what to expect.

Is Fibroblast treatment right for me?

  • Fibroblast can be used for many different skin conditions. Eyelid tightening, body lifting, acne treatment, scar correction, tattoo removal and stretch marks. If you suffer from any of the above conditions but hesitated with traditional surgical procedures, non-invasive Fibroblast treatment may be the right solution for you.
